Joanne is a Certified Educational Planner, mental health counselor and a published writer. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Millersville University and her graduate degree in counseling psychology from Arcadia University. In addition, Joanne has completed all coursework for a certificate for Independent Educational Consultants in the University of California Irvine program and is a graduate of the Institute for Children's Literature writing program.

Joanne's clients benefit from her 20-plus years of professional experience in higher education, counseling and writing.She has published over 1000 posts, print and online articles and essays and has worked with clients in a variety of settings- colleges, schools, workplace, groups, and workshops. Her strong organizational skills, ability to listen and observe, and a keen attention to detail, help guide students and families through decisions and action.

Joanne is a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and also holds memberships with the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling and the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling. S
